Nurmet Rahaksi (NuRa) -project (1.7.2015-30.4.2019) investigates the methods that have potential to maintain or improve the viability and competitiveness of forage production that is challenged by climate change and changing markets. In addition to generating new information of such methods, the project will also develop reciprocal communication between research, education, advisory and farmers.
The project is carried out in Northern Savonia region by Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) together with Savonia University of Applied Sciences and ProAgria. The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
