In 2022, the potato harvest was 562 thousand tons in Finland. That is 1,22 percent of the EU’s (27 countries) total potato harvest, amounting to 45.8 million tons.
The largest potato producers are Germany, with 10.2 million tons and the Netherlands with 7.3 million tons, followed by France, 6.8 million tons and Poland, 5,5 million tons. The share of the largest four countries in the EU’s potato production was a good 65% in 2022.
