In 2016, Finland’s egg production totalled 73 million kilos. EU-level statistics on egg production are only available until 2014. Finland’s production volume was then 67 million kilos, which is one percent of the EU’s (28 countries) total egg production, amounting to 6,966 million kilos.
The largest egg producers in the EU in 2014 were France 956, with million kilos, Spain with 787 million and Germany with 787 million kilos.
