BuSK Kick-off meeting was held in Rovaniemi, Finland, in June 7th–June 8th. Twenty-five participants from all eleven partner countries/regions attended the meeting.
The contents of the work packages as well as practical issues in BuSK project were discussed during the meeting. The BuSK Steering Committee also organized and had its first meeting. John McDonagh was selected as the chairman of the committee.
An important part of the meeting was to get to know each other also in less informal activities. Therefore, participants visited Santa Claus Park in the Arctice Circle. The park hosts thousands of visitors from all over he world annually. In the park you can cross Arctic Circle below the circle. The highlight of the visit was, of course, to meet Santa himself!
